Job summary

OCL Group Inc. in Prince George, BC is seeking Journeyman Welders to join a safety‑driven industrial crew. Read blueprints, perform SMAW/GMAW/FCAW/MCAW welding, cut and finish materials, and maintain equipment on site.

Qualified candidates have Journeyperson Welder certification, safety certs (AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS), a valid driver's license, and a commitment to safety. Canadian work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Welder certification.
• Valid safety certifications: AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS.
• Industrial or mechanical experience.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
• Bonus: Experience operating zoom boom, skid steer, forklift, or overhead crane.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW techniques.
• Cut, grind, drill, and stamp materials as needed.
• Conduct equipment maintenance in line with company and industry standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate project progress with your supervisor.
