Job summary

OCL Group Inc. in Prince George, BC is hiring Journeyman Welders to join our safety‑focused industrial crew. Read blueprints, interpret project specs, and perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and MCAW on diverse industrial environments.

We offer competitive wages based on experience and certification, LOA positions at $200/day, and strong commitment to safety and team culture. Qualifying candidates have journeyperson welding certification, valid safety credentials, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Welder certification.
• Valid safety credentials: AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS.
• Industrial or mechanical experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic with safety focus.
• Bonus: experience operating Zoom Boom, skid steer, forklift or overhead crane.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Perform welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and MCAW techniques.
• Cut, grind, drill, and stamp materials as needed.
• Conduct equipment maintenance per company and industry standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate project progress with your supervisor.

Education

Journeyperson Welder certification

Valid safety certifications: AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS

Industrial or mechanical experience
