Job summary

OCL Group Inc. in Prince George, BC, is seeking Journeyman Welders for our safety‑focused industrial crew. Read blueprints, perform SMAW/GMAW/FCAW/MCAW welding, and perform material prep and basic maintenance on site. Bi‑weekly pay and LOA‑based positions offered.

Candidates must have Journeyperson Welder certification, valid safety certifications (AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS), relevant industrial experience, a valid driver's license, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Welder certification.
• Valid safety certifications: AWP, Fall Arrest, Confined Space, WHMIS.
• Industrial or mechanical experience.
• Driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and safety focus.
• Bonus: experience operating heavy equipment (boom, skid steer, forklift, crane).
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Welding using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, MCAW techniques.
• Cut, grind, drill, and stamp materials as needed.
• Equipment maintenance per company and industry standards.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Communicate project progress with supervisor.

What You Will Be Doing
