Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Alberta is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on industrial construction sites near Wandering River. You will install electrical systems and interpret blueprints on our projects.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson Certificate (Red Seal preferred), have a minimum of 2 years of experience, and be safety-focused. We offer shift work, overtime, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate required; Red Seal preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in industrial construction electrical work.
• Must hold H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/MEWP, First Aid (CPR/AED) and CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness for shift work, overtime, and weekends with safety focus.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team working on our various construction sites near Wandering River, Alberta. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.


• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.


• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.


• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.


• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.


• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.


• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.


• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.


• Other duties as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $45, commensurate with experience and certification


• Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off


• Hours: 11 per day, 8 Regular, 3 Overtime


• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
