Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Canada is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a 7/7 FIFO rotation from Calgary or Edmonton. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites and ensure compliance with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualified candidates will hold a Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial construction.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Valid driver's license.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal certification preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work

• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment

• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $47.30-54.55, commensurate with experience and certification
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
