Job summary

PTW Energy Services, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a 7/7 FIFO rotation from Calgary or Edmonton. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Requirements include a valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred), 3+ years of experience, and safety certifications. The position offers OT opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package with health, retirement, and referral

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid safety certifications: H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Shift availability with overtime and weekends, safety-focused and self-directed.
• Ability to work in heights, confined spaces and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specs.
• Ensure compliance with electrical code, safety regulations, and policies.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test systems with appropriate tools.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on a 7/7FIFO rotation from Calgary or Edmonton. You will install electrical systems on industrial projects/sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical code, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Test electrical systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors on job sites.
• Complete documentation, work orders, and reports as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $47.30-54.55, commensurate with experience and certification
• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
