Job summary

GenMec ACL in Frog Lake, Alberta is seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to join a dynamic field team. You will perform on-site carpentry, read blueprints, and collaborate with other trades to meet project specs.

Location: Frog Lake, Alberta

Are you a skilled carpenter looking to bring your expertise to a supportive and dynamic team? We’re seeking a Journeyperson Carpenter to work on exciting construction projects, ensuring quality and safety are always top priorities.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience:5+ years in construction with a strong carpentry focus.
  • Certification:Journeyman Carpenter Ticket preferred. Valid safety certifications (First Aid, CSTS, WHMIS, Work Hub Orientation, etc.) and a valid driver’s license are assets.
  • Skills:Strong knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety standards.

Working Conditions

This role requires working on construction sites, often outdoors in variable weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work long hours and weekends as needed and pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test if required by the client.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$40.00/hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
