Job summary

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. currently seeks Journeyperson and Apprentice Carpenters for work in Edmonton, AB and surrounding areas. You will read blueprints, prepare layouts, and build foundations while working with wood, substitutes, and concrete formwork.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate in Carpentry and possess CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Fall Protection, and MEWP qualifications. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow written and verbal instructions is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson/Apprentice certificate in Carpentry.
• CSTS 2020 certification.
• WHMIS 2015 certification.
• Fall Protection training.
• MEWP competency.
• Formwork experience.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Organized, self-driven, and able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Work with all types of Concrete Formwork.

• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
• Working with all types of Concrete Formwork

What We Are Looking For
