Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corp in Regina, SK is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter. The role requires reading technical guides, drawings, and specifications; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; operate at heights; and endure weather exposure. CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.

You will perform carpentry work on project sites using hand and power tools safely, with 3–5 years' experience and a reliable transportation method. Excellent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Carpentry ticket required.
• 3–5 years of carpentry or equivalent experience required.
• Strong math skills for precise measuring and calculations.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Good physical strength and stamina to lift heavy items and stand for long hours.
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 are required.
• Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Key Information:

• Hours: Project dependent; minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
