Job summary

Wood Automotive Group in Alberta is seeking an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our team at Taza Park Volkswagen. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within a multi-dealership group.

You will perform repairs, road tests, and diagnostics with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, collaborating with Service Advisors and the broader team to ensure safe, reliable vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs efficiently and accurately based on approved estimates.
• Perform road tests to verify repairs and ensure vehicle safety and performance.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship to support customer satisfaction.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using proper procedures and diagnostic tools.
• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding findings and required work.
• Identify and recommend additional repairs or maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
