Job summary

Kibbi in Ontario, Canada seeks a maintenance worker for seasonal shifts. You will operate industrial vacuums, perform cleaning, and assist with basic repairs and safety checks across the facility.

The role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and English proficiency; on‑the‑job training and youth mentorship opportunities are provided. Health and safety are prioritized in this role.

Qualifications

• No degree required; experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt and debris.
• Empty trash cans and waste containers.
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
• Make basic adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
• Perform minor repairs on appliances.
• Conduct safety and security checks.
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting and drywall repair.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
