Job summary

McDonald’s Hanover is seeking a Janitor (NOC 65312) to perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks at our Hanover location in Ontario, Canada. The role includes operating cleaning equipment, trash removal, window washing, and basic repairs, with safety checks and minimal supervision.

The position is seasonal but full-time, with a wage of $22.00 per hour and a 40-hour work week. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and disability coverage; English language requirements

Qualifications

No degree, certificate or diploma required.
Experience is an asset.
English language required.

Responsibilities

Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt and debris.
Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
Perform minor repairs on appliances.
Perform safety and security checks.
Perform other routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair.
Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
Work with minimal supervision.
Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
