Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer to design, develop and implement technical solutions for Liquids Pipeline business applications in Edmonton. You will provide technical leadership, coach team members, and translate business requirements into robust specifications and Agile solutions.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience
• Strong understanding of software design, development and support practices
• Experience in Agile and/or DevOps environments
• Experience with automated testing, GitHub and modern software delivery practices
• Knowledge of Azure services, PaaS platforms, data migration, transformation and integration concepts
• Understanding of application security principles, secure integrations, Key Vault and private endpoint technologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results
• Ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams and provide informal leadership, coaching and technical guidance
• Preferred: 3+ years of team leadership or technical lead experience
• Preferred: Oil and Gas industry experience, including nominations processes and pipeline data concepts
