Job summary

Zurich Canada is seeking a university student for an internship/co-op in Fall 2026 to support IT operations within the Technology Services team. Working onsite in Toronto, you will gain exposure to end‑user technology, hardware and software troubleshooting, and basic support processes under the supervision of experienced IT professionals.

You will help with laptop imaging, onboarding for new hires, asset inventory, and incident resolution while aligning with security standards and documented

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program related to IT.
• Preference for third- or fourth-year students.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support via helpdesk tickets and walk-ins.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with laptop imaging, configuration, deployment, and replacement.
• Support onboarding by preparing laptops for new hires.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and assist with lifecycle management.
• Assist with moves, deployments, collections, and refresh projects.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms and meeting room tech.
• Follow documented processes and security standards.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents and requests.
• Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
