Job summary

Zurich Canada is seeking a post-secondary student for an IT internship/co-op in Toronto for Fall 2026. You will provide support across day-to-day IT operations within our Technology Services team and work under supervision to gain hands-on experience with hardware, software, imaging, and end-user services.

Ideal candidates are in their 3rd/4th year of study, legally eligible to work in Canada, and eager to grow in a collaborative, values-driven environment at a global insurer.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Information Technology or a related field.
• Third- or fourth-year student preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support through helpdesk tickets and walk-in requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
• Assist with laptop imaging, configuration, deployment, and replacement activities.
• Support onboarding activities by preparing and installing laptops for new hires.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory records and assist with asset lifecycle management using ServiceNow.
• Assist with equipment moves, deployments, collections, and refresh projects.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, meeting room technologies, and company events requiring IT assistance.
• Follow documented processes, procedures, and security standards when performing IT support activities.
• Collaborate with team members and other IT groups to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Participate in operational projects and process improvement initiatives.
