Vuteq Canada Inc. in Woodstock, Ontario, is seeking an IT Service Desk team member to provide information technology help desk support across the organization.

This role serves as the first line of support for all incoming tickets and calls, and participates in on-call rotation to keep IT operations running smoothly. Candidates typically have 2-3 year IT diploma and 1-2 years in IT helpdesk/Desktop support; manufacturing/automotive experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a 2-3 year college diploma in IT.
• 1-2 years IT Helpdesk/Desktop support experience preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing/automotive considered a definite asset.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ticket handling; first response intake (phone/email) and internal IT coordination.
• Act as internal contact to IT dept; ensure tickets are created for requests.
• Help desk support for PC/desk phone/printer; configure devices and apps.
• System patching and OS updates across end-user devices using standard tools.
• Miscellaneous server administration tasks and backup support.
• Document IT processes and asset tracking; on-call support 24/7 as needed.
• Assist in on-call rotations to maintain IT operations.
