Job summary

The University of British Columbia is seeking a Support Analyst I to join UBC IT | Desktop | Operations on the Point Grey Campus and surrounding area. You will help maintain desktop systems, provide end-user support, and assist with network and hardware issues.

In this role you will troubleshoot hardware/software incidents, deploy standard software, and support LAN environments while coordinating with team leads to meet service levels.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required.
• Related experience or education may substitute.
• Microsoft and other industry certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and troubleshoots the microcomputer environment including hardware and software.
• Tracks and responds to service requests using in-house ticket systems.
• Provides training and assistance to users in the UBC IT Desktop Support portfolio.
