Job summary

MPOYNT Inc. is seeking an IT Asset & Hardware Fulfillment Specialist for our Toronto, ON office. You will provision devices, manage inventory, handle shipping, and support lifecycle activities for technology assets.

The role is full-time and in-person, with collaboration across technical, project, and service teams to ensure timely deployment and accurate records. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in hardware fulfillment, strong IT troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lift 40+ pounds.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in hardware fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory operations, IT support, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience setting up or troubleshooting computers or mobile devices.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for asset tracking and shipments.
• Ability to meet deadlines and communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical colleagues.
• Willingness to lift and move equipment weighing 40+ pounds and travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provision, stage, and configure laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and network equipment.
• Receive and track IT assets, peripherals, and shipping materials with accurate inventory records.
• Process domestic and international shipments, including waybills, packing lists, and invoices.
• Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, and RMAs with vendors and partners.
• Manage requests in the IT service management system within SLAs, documenting details.
• Support monthly inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and follow procedures.
• Identify imaging or setup issues with Project and Service Management teams.
• Test returned devices and decide whether to repair, redeploy, or decommission.
• Suggest improvements to hardware fulfillment processes.

Job description

MPOYNT helps organizations simplify and scale endpoint management through innovative technology solutions and managed services. We are building a high-performing Hardware Fulfillment team responsible for deploying, managing, and supporting technology assets throughout their lifecycle.

As an IT Asset & Hardware Fulfillment Specialist, you will be responsible for device provisioning, inventory management, shipping and receiving, repairs, and asset lifecycle activities. You will work with technical, project, and service teams to help ensure devices are deployed accurately and on time.

This is a full-time, in-person role located in our Toronto, ON office.

Responsibilities

• Provision, stage, and configure laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and network equipment.
• Receive and track IT assets, peripherals, and shipping materials, maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Process domestic and international shipments, including waybills, packing lists, and commercial invoices.
• Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) with vendors and partners.
• Manage assigned requests in our IT service management system within established service levels, documenting device, end-user, inventory, and shipping details accurately.
• Support monthly inventory audits, investigate discrepancies, and follow operational procedures.
• Work with Project and Service Management teams to identify and elevate device imaging or setup issues.
• Test returned devices and help determine whether they should be repaired, redeployed, or responsibly decommissioned.
• Identify and suggest improvements to hardware fulfillment processes.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in hardware fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory operations, IT support, or a related role.

• Ability to manage assigned requests, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical colleagues.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing 40+ pounds.
• Availability for occasional travel to client sites for project work.

Nice to have

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or a related field.
• Familiarity with iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS.
• Experience with mobile device management (MDM) or enterprise mobility management (EMM) tools.
• Familiarity with IT service management platforms and ITIL practices.
• Experience with wireless carrier portals, hardware warranty processes, or international shipping documentation.

SALARY

$55,000 - $65,000 CAD + performance bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
