Job summary

Armco Agencies Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project & Inventory Coordinator in Mississauga, Ontario. This in-office role supports quoting, inventory management, pricing updates, and project coordination to keep operations running smoothly.

You will work with customers, suppliers and internal teams to manage multiple priorities and ensure timely delivery of orders. The position emphasizes organization, communication, and hands-on support across day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operations, inventory management, quoting, customer service, distribution, or a related business operations role.
  • Knowledge of the plumbing industry is a strong asset and experience in wholesale distribution or construction supply is helpful.
  • Experience in a small to medium-sized business environment where adaptability and collaboration are valued.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and communications.
  • Proven ability to work with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the quoting process to ensure quotes are accurate, timely and meet customer requirements.
  • Oversee inventory control activities including stock levels and availability.
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning to meet customer demand.
  • Coordinate product returns and follow-ups to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate pricing-related activities including supplier price increases and customer communications.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities to align with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, sales reps and internal teams to support operations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency across operations.
  • Provide hands-on support across operational activities as needed.

Armco Agencies Inc. is a manufacturers’ agent and full-service provider of premium plumbing products, serving wholesale distribution, plumbing boutiques, and major retailers across Eastern Canada. With over 30 years in business, Armco Agencies Inc. supports clients through product information, order and distribution systems, market evaluation, and a dedicated team of sales specialists. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project & Inventory Coordinator to support inventory management, quoting, pricing updates, project coordination, product returns, and customer-related operational activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring projects and operational activities stay on track.

Your Day To Day
  • Coordinate the quoting process, ensuring quotes are accurate, timely, and aligned with customer requirements.
  • Oversee inventory control activities, including monitoring product availability, stock levels, and inventory requirements.
  • Support inventory forecasting and planning to help meet customer demand and operational needs.
  • Coordinate product returns, deficiencies, and related follow-up activities to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
  • Coordinate pricing-related activities, including supplier price increases and customer communications related to pricing updates.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities to ensure customer requirements and business priorities are addressed.
  • Work closely with customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and internal team members to support day-to-day operations and customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and support efficient, organized operations.
  • Provide hands-on support across operational activities as business needs require.
What You Bring
  • Experience in operations, inventory management, quoting, customer service, distribution, or a related business operations role.
  • Knowledge of the plumbing industry is considered a strong asset. Experience in wholesale distribution, building products, construction supply, manufacturing representatives, or a related industry will also be considered.
  • Experience working in a small to medium-sized business environment where adaptability and collaboration are valued.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, quotations, inventory requirements, and operational activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, sales representatives, and internal team members.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort managing operational information and business processes.
  • A practical, hands-on, and adaptable approach, with a willingness to support multiple areas of the business.
  • Ability to work in-office on a full-time basis in Mississauga, Ontario.
