Job summary

Price Industries Limited is seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure inventory accuracy in Winnipeg. You will supervise staff, coordinate with purchasing and production, and drive continuous improvements in inventory processes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in inventory control, a Bachelor's in a related field, and strong ERP/WMS experience. Proficiency in Excel and analytics is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and warehouse operations.
• Experience with ERP and WMS software (such as IFS, Epicor, or Microsoft Dynamics).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control operations and warehouse inventory activities.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation processes.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain inventory control policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, shipping, and receiving departments to ensure inventory availability.
• Analyze inventory reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse & Stores staff.
• Maintain accurate inventory records Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory processes and reduce costs.
• Prepare reports for management on inventory performance, stock variances, and operational metrics.

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the production inventory warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy, proper storage, material availability, and efficient support to production operations.
