Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a recruitment-focused intern to support talent acquisition activities within the Administrative Centre. You will help identify profiles, search for candidates on social media, and screen CVs while coordinating interviews and travel as needed.

The role is open to students and spans 8 months with a hybrid work arrangement in Canada. You will gain hands-on experience in interviews, verifications, and offer processes under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a student or in the process of obtaining a university degree in administration or HR.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable with MS Office and computers.
• Bilingual French/English is required or beneficial.
• Experience with recruitment processes is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Meet managers to identify candidate profiles and needs.
• Search for talent using social media and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Analyze CVs and coordinate interviews (virtual or in-person).
• Represent the company at job fairs and conduct pre-screenings.
• Prepare offer letters and keep ATS up to date.
• Follow up on hiring formalities and required documents.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Meet managers to identify the profile of the desired candidates (needs analysis);
• Use strategies to search for the best talent using social media: LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter;
• Analyze the CVs received;
• Represent the company at job fairs;
• Carry out telephone pre-selections (internal and external);
• Coordinate and organize interviews (internal and external) virtual or in person;
• Be a stakeholder in interviews with managers and play an advisory role;
• Prepare pre-employment verification documents (Backcheck);
• Prepare offer and transfer letters;
• Keep our ATS system up to date;
• Follow up on candidates for hiring formalities (consent forms, diplomas, etc.);
• May be called upon to participate in other one-off projects related to strategic plans to improve our talent acquisition processes.

How to thrive in this role?

• You are available to work full-time for 4 to 8 months;
• You hold a university degree in administration or human resources, or are in the process of obtaining one;
• You are comfortable with computers and have excellent knowledge of MS Office;
• You have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalism;
• You have knowledge of SAP or SuccessFactors (an asset);
• You are bilingual (French/English);
• You have a good sense of organization and show a lot of initiative;
• You work well under pressure and have proven experience dealing with individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced and busy environment;
• You have strong interpersonal skills and professionalism;
• You are autonomous, flexible and a team player.
