Job summary

Bombardier invites students to join an 8-month internship in a hybrid role, located at our Administrative Centre in Montreal. You will gain exposure to procurement activities, governance material preparation, and project planning while collaborating across departments.

This opportunity emphasizes development in negotiation strategies, contract terms, and business case preparation, with bilingual English/French communication as an asset.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business administration or supply chain program
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with good communication and planning skills
• Ability to summarize data analysis and present clear results
• Resourceful, autonomous and capable of handling multiple priorities
• Knowledge of SharePoint and SAP is an asset
• Able to work effectively in English and French on a daily basis
• On-site work at Montreal facilities at least two days per week

Responsibilities

• Support a Senior Agent for all Procurement activities
• Assist in preparing governance material for executive-level viewing
• Prepare and drive progress of initiatives on a weekly basis
• Create detailed project plans
• Work with legal documentation as needed
• Participate in negotiation strategies and contractual terms
• Assist in preparation of business cases

How to thrive in this role?

• You are enrolled in a business administration, or in a supply chain management program; previous experience with change management is an advantage
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly of PowerPoint and Excel
• You have strong analytical and problem–solving skills, good communication and planning skills
• The capacity to summarize data analysis and communicate the outcome clearly
• You have strong customer orientation, demonstrate flexibility and autonomy and can manage multiple priorities
• You have good contractual knowledge
• You are resourceful and have a drive for results
• You have knowledge of Sharepoint and SAP (an asset)
• You convey complex ideas simply through written reports and presentation material
• You are able to work effectively in English and French on a daily basis
• You are able to work on-site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two (2) days per week, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy
