Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH invites motivated students for an Internship in Supply Chain (New Development Programs) at our Montreal facilities. The program is hybrid with on-site days and travel as needed; duration is 8 months, starting Winter 2027.

You will learn governance, procurement, project planning and negotiation strategies while supporting a Senior Agent and preparing governance material for executives.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a business administration or supply chain management program.
• Internships open to students; not for new graduates.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong communication, planning and analytical skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Montreal at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support a Senior Agent for all procurement activities.
• Assist in preparing governance material for executive view.
• Drive progress of initiatives on a weekly basis.
• Create project plans and monitor timelines.
• Work with legal documentation and terms.
• Contribute to negotiation strategies and contracts.
• Assist in preparing business cases.
• Develop governance understanding within a large organization.
• Improve speaking and presentation skills.
• Facilitate meetings for medium-sized groups.

• Supporting a Senior Agent for all Procurement activities
• Assisting in the preparation of governance material for executive level viewing
• Preparing and driving the progress of initiatives on weekly basis

• Participate in negotiation strategies and contractual terms
• Assist in preparation of business cases

How to thrive in this role?

• You are enrolled in a business administration, or in a supply chain management program; previous experience with change management is an advantage
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly of PowerPoint and Excel
• You have strong analytical and problem–solving skills, good communication and planning skills
• The capacity to summarize data analysis and communicate the outcome clearly
• You have strong customer orientation, demonstrate flexibility and autonomy and can manage multiple priorities
• You have good contractual knowledge
• You are resourceful and have a drive for results
• You have knowledge of Sharepoint and SAP (an asset)
• You convey complex ideas simply through written reports and presentation material
• You are able to work effectively in English and French on a daily basis
• You are able to work on‑site at one of our Montreal facilities at least two (2) days per week, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy
