Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Dorval, QC seeks a hands-on Intern in Supply Chain (NPI, KPI and Governance) for Winter 2027. The role offers exposure to real-world business performance, governance reporting, and mentorship across departments.

You will contribute to KPI dashboards, milestone tracking, and executive-ready data summaries. The internship is hybrid, based at Montreal facilities, with opportunities to engage in conferences and Bombardier learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related field required or on-going.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
• Interest in data storytelling and visualization best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar BI platforms.
• Design and maintain milestone tracking tools for project milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare governance materials, slides, charts and data summaries for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, define KPIs and standardize reporting.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs for projects or governance stakeholders.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Develop KPI Dashboards and reporting tools:Assist in designing and building dashboards and reporting tools to track business or project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using Excel, Power BI, or other business intelligence platforms.
• Design and maintain milestone tracking tools: Build templates and tools to track project milestones, timelines and deliverables across key projects (PCRs) and programs.
• Assist in the preparation of governance materials, including slide decks, charts, and data summaries for executive reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, define KPIs, and standardize reporting formats.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy of reporting.
• Support ad hoc analysis and reporting needs as required by project or governance stakeholders.

How to thrive in this role?

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
• Basic understanding of KPIs, project management concepts, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interest in data storytelling and visualization best practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• You can work effectively in both English and French on a daily basis
• You can work on-site at least two (2) days per week at one of our Montreal facilities, sometimes more, as per the applicable policy

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
