Job summary

Bombardier invites ambitious engineering students for an internship in Stress Engineering (Winter 2027) at Marcel-Laurin Plant 1. You will learn how stress analyses are performed on green aircraft structures, and how Catia analyses are generated while supporting production activities.

You will work in a hybrid setting, collaborating with teams and attending morning meetings and technical discussions. Open to 2nd/3rd year Mechanical/Aerospace students who are bilingual or English-proficient.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, preferably 2nd or 3rd year.
• Familiar with Catia V5, Patran, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures required.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress analysis on primary or secondary structures.
• Support production activities by analyzing a Non-conformity report.
• Participate in daily morning meetings and technical discussions.

During your internship, you will contribute to:

• Perform stress analysis on primary or secondary structures.
• Support production activities by analyzing a Non-conformity report.
• Participate in the daily morning meeting (DMM), staff and technical discussion meetings.

During your internship, you will learn:

• How the stress analysis is calculated on green structures.
• How Catia analysis model is generated.
• How to support production activities.

What we are looking for:

• You are enrolled in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, preferably 2nd or 3rd year.
• You are familiar with Catia V5, Microsoft office and Patran.
• You have knowledge in aircraft structures.

• You are a self-motivated person and a team player.
• You speak and write in English and have good communication skills. Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
