Bombardier invites a motivated student to join our Industrial Engineering internship in Canada. You will work on establishing manufacturing sequences, analyzing cycle times, and balancing lines to meet production rates.

The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and hands-on data collection. Hybrid work arrangement and a 4-month duration enable you to gain practical experience while collaborating with experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Student currently enrolled in Industrial Engineering seeking an internship.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain manufacturing sequences (Precedence).
• Analyze cycle times and establish critical cycle time.
• Define line balancing for specific rate and manpower.
• Produce daily production schedules and track workloads.
• Collect and maintain manufacturing data (loads, capacity, equipment).
• Identify and participate in improvement projects.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Establish and maintain manufacturing technical sequences (Precedence)
• Analyze cycle times
• Establish critical cycle time
• Define and Produce the optimal line balancing for specific rate.
• Establish the detailed manpower requirement (workcenters, crew type, shift,..)
• Determine Production capacity (Manpower, equipment…)
• Produce daily production schedule (Chart)
• Collect, document and maintain manufacturing data. (loads, capacity, equipment, footprint ...)
• Participate in analyzing and establishing the production standard time.
• Establish detailed value stream mapping.
• Establish and organize workcenter considering human and material flow.
• Manage production changes (sequence)
• Identify and participate in Improvement projects.
