Job summary

Bombardier is seeking engineering interns for a 4-month program in Montreal. You will engage in structural analyses, including finite element methods, and support simulations of product modifications. The role emphasizes teamwork, self-motivation, and strong communication in a hybrid work setup.

Eligible candidates are students in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with exposure to CATIA and FE analysis tools, and a willingness to travel for training as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing 2-3 years in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with a focus on structure.
• Knowledge of structural design, testing and analysis.
• Some exposure to CATIA and finite element analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Be involved in structural analyses including finite element, static, fatigue and damage tolerance analyses with CATIA, NASTRAN, PATRAN and NASGRO.
• Contribute to the simulation, analysis and certification of product modifications.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Be involved in various structural analyses including finite element analysis, static analysis, fatigue analysis and damage tolerance analysis with tools such as CATIA, NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO
• Contribute to the simulation, analysis and certification of product modifications

How to thrive in this role?

• You have completed 2-3 years of your Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree (with a focus on structure)
• You have knowledge of structural design, testing and analysis
• You have some exposure to CATIA and finite element analysis software
• You have great team spirit, are self-motivated, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• You have organizational skills: ability to prioritize and work independently, meet deadlines, multitask and balance various assignments
• Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
