Zusammenfassung

Bombardier in Dorval, QC, is seeking an Intern, Engineering Stress for Winter 2027. You will support engineering and operations, perform stress analyses (Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, FEM) on metallic and composite structures, and collaborate across design, materials, and production.

The role is hybrid with location Dorval Plant 3 for a 4-month term. Ideal candidates are mechanical or aerospace engineering students (3rd year preferred) with Excel macro skills,

Qualifikationen

• Mechanical or aerospace engineering student, preferably in 3rd year.
• Programming knowledge, especially building macros in Excel.
• Familiar with CATIA and FEM software.

• Support the Engineering and Operations organizations.

• Participate when required in Engineering development work.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the Engineering and Operations organizations;
• Perform various stress analyses of Static Strength, Fatigue/Durability, Damage Tolerance, and Finite Element Model (FEM) for metallic and composite structures;
• Participate when required in Engineering development work;
• Work in close cooperation with other Engineering functions (Liaison, Design, Materials & Processes, Weights, Project, Systems, Program, etc.) and Operations (Methods, Quality, and Production).

What we are looking for

• You are a mechanical / aerospace engineering student, preferably in 3rd year.
• You have Programming knowledge, specially building macros in excel.
• You are familiar with CATIA and FEM softwares
• You are a self‑motivated person and a team player.
• You can read and write in English and have good communication skills. Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset
• You are available for extension or a longer internship if required
