Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mississauga invites an Intern in Project Management (Winter 2027).

You will assist planning, scheduling, and tracking projects for the Global 8000 program, building schedules and supporting implementation, while learning how priorities are set in a global aerospace environment.The ideal candidate is enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Business, or PM, proficient with MS Office and MS Project, and comfortable communicating across teams.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Engineering, Business, PM, or related field.
• Minimum 4 months internship duration.
• Available to work from Toronto or Montreal offices 2 days per week.
• Fluent in English; French is a bonus.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, track, and execute projects for the Global 8000 aircraft.
• Build project schedules and support implementation plans.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-track delivery.
• Assist the Project Engineer with reporting and KPI tracking.
• Prepare business cases and budgets to inform decisions.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Keep documents, timelines, and databases up to date.
• Learn priority setting via product development meetings.
• Practice written and verbal communication through reports and presentations.

• Helping plan, track, and execute projects for the Global 8000 aircraft.
• Building project schedules and supporting implementation plans.
• Monitoring progress to make sure everything stays on track.
• Assisting the Project Engineer with reporting and performance tracking.
• Preparing business cases and budgets to help guide decisions.
• Communicating with people across departments and outside the company.
• Keeping documents, project timelines, and databases up to date.
• Supporting key team goals and learning how to manage KPIs.
• Identifying risks and working on creative ways to handle them.
• Solving real-world problems using both logic and innovation.
• Joining product development meetings and learning how priorities are set.

How to thrive in this role?

• You're working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or something similar (Required)
• You’re great with Microsoft Office, especially:
• Excel (advanced is a plus!)
• MS Project
• PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
• You have strong communication and time-management skills
• You can clearly explain your ideas—written or spoken
• You’re a team player and build positive relationships easily

• You’ve worked in aerospace or manufacturing (nice to have)

• Min 4 months internship and be willing to work from Toronto or Montreal Office 2 times per week.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
