Job summary

Bombardier Internship in Mississauga is a winter 2027 role for a student pursuing an Engineering, Business, or Project Management track. You will support planning, scheduling, and reporting for the new development aircraft, while learning KPI management and cross-department coordination.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to attend conferences and network with executives and specialists. Hybrid work and potential travel are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in Engineering, Business, or Project Management required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams.
• Strong communication and time-management skills; able to explain ideas clearly.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, or scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help plan, track, and execute projects for the new development aircraft.
• Build project schedules and support implementation plans.
• Monitor progress to keep everything on track.
• Assist the Project Engineer with reporting and performance tracking.
• Prepare business cases and budgets to guide decisions.
• Communicate with people across departments and outside the company.
• Keep documents, project timelines, and databases up to date.
• Support key team goals and learn KPI management.
• Identify risks and develop creative mitigation strategies.
• Join product development meetings and learn prioritization.
• Practice written and verbal communication through reports and presentations.

What are your contributions to the team?

Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

How to thrive in this role?

• You're working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or something similar (Required)
• You’re great with Microsoft Office, especially:
• Excel (advanced is a plus!)
• MS Project
• PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
• You have strong communication and time-management skills
• You can clearly explain your ideas—written or spoken
• You’re a team player and build positive relationships easily
• You’re flexible and can handle changing priorities

• You’ve worked in aerospace or manufacturing (nice to have)
• You’re comfortable working independently and figuring things out
• Speak English fluently; French is a bonus
• Min 8 months internship and be willing to work from Montreal Office 2 times per week.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
