Job summary

Bombardier is seeking an Intern in Operations Council/Strategy for Winter 2027 in Mississauga. The role focuses on developing dashboards to automate reporting, analyzing operational data, and supporting governance on budgets and programs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate engineering or related program.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Able to perform effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Detail-oriented, professional, and able to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of dashboards and tools to automate reporting and monitor key operational KPIs in real time.
• Explore research on emerging industry applications relevant to manufacturing and operations and provide insights for pilot projects.
• Facilitate governance regarding budget follow-up, communication, Pearson project, Kaizens projects, KPIs, and all-hands presentations.
• Prepare business cases with respect to budgets, scheduling, costing, and program directives.
• Prepare governance of operational improvement projects for senior management reviews.
• Monitor resolution for operational deliverables based on input from subject matter experts.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
