Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH invites motivated students to join its Montreal office as an Intern in Project Engineering for New Development (Winter 2027). You will support planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting for aircraft development projects, while gaining hands-on experience across departments.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a degree in engineering or related fields, with strong MS Office skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Project Management (required).
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
• Strong communication and time-management abilities.
• Able to explain ideas clearly, in writing and verbally.
• Team player with flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, or scheduling is a bonus.
• Aerospace or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work from the Montreal Office 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer with reporting and performance tracking.

What are your contributions to the team?

Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

• Helping plan, track, and execute projects for the new aircraft development.
• Building project schedules and supporting implementation plans.

What We’re Looking For

• You're working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or something similar (Required)
• You’re great with Microsoft Office, especially:
• Excel (advanced is a plus!)
• MS Project
• PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams
• You have strong communication and time-management skills
• You can clearly explain your ideas—written or spoken
• You’re a team player and build positive relationships easily
• You’re flexible and can handle changing priorities
• You’re creative and care about the quality of your work
• You’ve done project management, budgeting, or scheduling before (a bonus)
• You’ve worked in aerospace or manufacturing (nice to have)
• You’re comfortable working independently and figuring things out
• You speak English fluently; French is a bonus
• Min 8 months internship and be willing to work from Montreal Office 2 times per week.
