Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in governance for major site projects in Methods.
• Support audit and development of Methods and Operational processes.
• Help define and develop new tools and business cases for deployment.
• Manage and maintain department budget, headcount, overhead cost and OPEX.
• Produce metrics and governance visibility for Budget/Forecast adherence.
• Support Bombardier Operational Excellence objectives.

What are your contributions to the team?

During your internship, you will contribute to…

Assist in the governance in major site projects relating to the Methods department

Support the audit and development of Methods and Operational processes.

Support the definition and development of new tools and associated business cases for deployment to business.

Manage and maintain Department Budget, Headcount, overhead cost, and operating expenses

Produce metrics and governance visibility related to Adherence to Budget/Forecast Governance to the management team

Actively support the Bombardier Operational Excellence (BOE) departmental objectives.

During your internship, you will learn…

The application of business management applications and software (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SQL, VBI, etc.)

How to present ideas to multiple areas of the business (Production, Management, Internal Team, etc.)

Learn about the functionality and manufacturing of the Global 7500, 6500 & 5500 aircraft

Understand the requirements of an Aircraft manufacturing facility

Understand what is required to implement and execute projects across an aerospace manufacturing site

What we are looking for…

You are currently completing a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Finance with a CGPA above 3.5

You are enrolled in a Co-Op / Internship program.

You are proficient in Excel (Mandatory) and programming languages an asset.

You demonstrate a professional attitude and superior communication skills (Essential).

You have a pro-active attitude and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, challenging environment.

You have excellent organizational, time management skills, foresight, accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to objectives and responsibilities.

• Location: Global 7500/8000

• Duration: 8 months

• Flexible workplace-Hybrid

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
