Job summary

Bombardier Transportation GmbH in Mississauga, Ontario, is offering a Winter 2027 internship in Research and Technology, Program Office. Qualifications

• Enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of university with an interest in Aerospace Engineering, Product Development, and Continuous Improvement.
• Good communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Office 365 tools.

• Coordinate collaborative research and technology projects with industry, academia, and government partners, identifying improvements to tools and processes.
• Drive projects to success by maintaining governance, following up, and documenting lessons learned.
• Research technical aspects of new and ongoing projects to actively contribute.
• Assist in coordinating financial reporting for various funding mechanisms in the Research and Technology Office.

• Participate in the coordination of collaborative research and technology projects with industry, academia, and government partners by identifying and implementing improvements to tools and processes.
• Drive projects to success by maintaining governance, following up and closing actions, and ensuring documentation of lessons learned.
• Satisfy your thirst for knowledge by actively researching the technical aspects of new and ongoing projects, enabling you to be an active participant and valuable contributor.
• Assist in the coordination of financial reporting for various funding mechanisms within the Research and Technology Office.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
