Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Environmental Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team. Based at one of several Ontario offices, you will work on Phase I–III ESAs, remediation, and risk assessments while delivering superior client experiences.

You will collaborate with Qualified Persons, manage field programs, and contribute to proposals. The role requires Ontario experience, a relevant degree, and professional designation within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental engineering, geoscience, or related environmental discipline.
• Professional designation or eligibility (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo) within 12 months in Ontario.
• Experience with Ontario regulations governing contaminated sites and MECP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to Phase I–III ESAs, site remediation, compliance monitoring, and soil vapour intrusion evaluations.
• Assist senior staff in collecting, evaluating, and reporting data for risk assessments, CS Models, and RSCs.
• Apply O. Reg. 153/04 and O. Reg. 406/19 (Excess Soil) knowledge to develop excess soil management plans and oversee field work.
• Prepare clear, concise technical reports, work plans, remedial options analyses, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate field programs, subcontractors, and budget/schedule tracking for intermediate-scale projects.
• Maintain direct client communication and assist with proposal writing and scope development.
