Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited is seeking an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Environmental Scientist to join our Contaminant Assessment & Management team in Ontario. Based at one of our Ontario offices, you will contribute to ESAs, remediation, and regulatory compliance across multiple sites, coordinating with senior staff and clients. You will apply O.

Reg. 153/04 and related guidelines, develop risk assessments, NCSMs, and RSCs, and prepare reports, cost estimates, and plans.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in environmental consulting or related experience, including project coordination and management.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, and organizational skills.
• A degree in environmental engineering, geoscience, or another relevant environmental discipline.
• Professional designation or eligibility to achieve professional designation (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo) within 12 months in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or contribute to Phase I–III Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site remediation, and compliance monitoring.
• Assist with data collection, evaluation, and reporting for risk assessments, CSMS, and RSCs.
• Develop excess soil management plans and oversee field characterization and registry filings.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, remedial options analyses, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate field programs, subcontractors, and budget/schedule tracking for intermediate-scale projects.
• Maintain direct client communication and assist with proposal writing and scope development.
