Job summary

Dillon Consulting Limited’s Contaminant Assessment & Management discipline seeks an Intermediate Environmental Engineer/Environmental Scientist to join our multidisciplinary team in Ontario. Based in one of our Ontario offices, you will advance Phase I–III ESAs, soil and groundwater work, and remediation projects while delivering a superior client experience.

The role requires 5–8 years of Ontario-focused environmental consulting, a degree in environmental engineering or geoscience, and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field.
• Knowledge of Ontario environmental regulations and field operations.
• Strong report writing and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to coordinate field programs and manage client communications.
• Eligibility for professional designation (P.Eng./P.Geo) within 12 months in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support Phase I–III ESAs, remediation, and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Assist with data collection, evaluation, and reporting for risk assessments and CSMS/RSCs.
• Develop excess soil management plans and oversee field characterization.
• Prepare clear technical reports, work plans, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate field programs, subcontractors, and budget/schedule tracking.
• Maintain direct client communication and contribute to proposal development.
