Job summary

Trans Global Insurance Group, part of the Leon’s Furniture Ltd. family, seeks a Business Relationship Manager to foster partnerships with Canadian insurance distributors from Edmonton or Toronto. You’ll deliver premium client service, advise on risk profiles, and drive growth while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong KPI performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful experience in insurance account management or client service.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment and embrace new challenges.
• Post-secondary education in business or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Insurance industry designations or licenses are an asset.
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing day-to-day account support.
• Monitor KPIs for assigned clients and suggest action plans where required.
• Conduct regular business review meetings with assigned clients.
• Understand clients’ evolving risk profiles and insurance needs and devise solutions with the team.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and provide coverage explanations.
• Ensure all files and communications comply with provincial regulations and insurer guidelines.
• Travel 10% as required to support business objectives.
