Job summary

Desjardins Insurance Agent Team Member in Stratford, Ontario is seeking an Insurance Customer Service Representative to help clients select appropriate insurance solutions and provide friendly, professional service.

You will build relationships, solve problems, and engage in conversations that lead to meaningful outcomes. This role offers growth within a community-focused agency and a path toward deeper insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Track record of meeting sales goals or quotas is an asset.
• Licenses preferred (P&C, OTL) or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers with prompt, friendly service.
• Identify customer needs and recommend insurance products and services.
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and follow up with clients.
• Respond to inquiries about availability, eligibility, coverage, changes, transfers, claims, and billing.
• Explain products and coverage options clearly to customers.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products based on needs.
• Collaborate with the Agent to meet sales and marketing goals.
• Contribute to a positive customer experience throughout the relationship.

What You Will Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

• Build strong relationships with customers by providing prompt, friendly, and professional service
• Connect with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs and identify the right insurance products and services
• Develop leads, schedule appointments, and follow up with customers
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing
• Explain insurance products and coverage options in a clear and easy to understand way
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and services based on customer needs
• Work closely with the Agent to achieve team sales and marketing goals
• Help create a positive customer experience at every stage of the relationship

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is preferred but not required for this role.
• A successful track record of meeting sales goals or quotas is an asset
• Property & Casualty insurance license is preferred
• OTL license is preferred, or you must be willing and able to obtain the required license

Salary Range: 45,000k - 50,000k plus Bonuses.
