Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar advisory role.
• Working knowledge of personal and commercial insurance products, policy structures, and underwriting procedures.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• RIBO license (or in process of obtaining).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized insurance solutions.
• Evaluate clients’ existing policies and recommend adjustments for adequate coverage.
• Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities within personal and commercial lines.
• Research and compare products from multiple carriers; present customized options.
• Guide clients through the claims process and provide timely advice.
• Monitor industry trends and underwriting guidelines to ensure accurate recommendations.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate favorable terms for clients.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy changes.

We are seeking a motivated and self-driven Insurance Broker to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with internal departments to develop, market, and manage both new and renewal business across a diverse client base. A strong understanding of the insurance marketplace, combined with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with insurance carriers, is essential. The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation and analytical skills to evaluate client needs and develop tailored proposals and recommendations. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is key to thriving in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within personal and commercial lines.

• Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal stakeholders to negotiate competitive terms and secure optimal outcomes for clients.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, coverage details, and policy changes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Insurance Broker or in a similar advisory role.
• Working knowledge of both personal and commercial insurance products, policy structures, and underwriting procedures.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a history of achieving or exceeding performance targets.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
• RIBO license (or in the process of obtaining one) is required.
