Job summary

Western Financial Group in Nanaimo, BC is seeking an Insurance Advisor to quote and sell new home and auto policies to customers by phone, in person and by email. You will assist clients with policy purchases and manage relationships to meet sales targets.

You will follow up on client accounts, conduct sales calls for new business and renewal calls for existing customer business, contributing to a high‑performing, community‑mocused team.

Qualifications

• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email.
• Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role.
• Working experience in EPIC an asset.

Responsibilities

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email.
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy.
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business.
