Job summary

Western Financial Group in Kelowna, BC, is seeking an Insurance Advisor to provide quotes and sell home and auto policies. You will build relationships with customers, meet sales targets, and handle follow-ups on client accounts, with calls for new business and renewals.

The role is a 6-month temporary contract, 35 hours per week, based in Kelowna. A General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset, and EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• License is asset but not required.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and via email.
• Experience meeting sales targets in a similar role.
• EPIC system experience is an asset.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business

The Value You Bring

• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email
• Prior experience achieving sales targets in a similar or comparable role
• Working experience in EPIC an asset
