Job summary

Western Financial Group is hiring an Insurance Advisor in Williams Lake, BC. You will meet sales targets by quoting and referring new business, while building lasting relationships with customers to protect what matters most.

In this role, you will provide quotes via phone, in-person, and email; assist with home and auto policies; follow up on accounts; and conduct renewal calls. Training is available, and a General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.

Qualifications

• No experience is required if unlicensed; training provided.
• General Level 1 Insurance License is an asset.
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs.
• Ability to communicate professionally in-person, by phone and by email.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and email.
• Assist customers with home and auto policy purchases.
• Build and manage customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets.
• Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding activities.
• Conduct sales calls for new business and make renewal calls for existing client business.

Insurance Advisor - Williams Lake

As an Insurance Advisor you are responsible for meeting sales targets through quotes and by referring new business. Every day you will be build lasting relationships with your customers, helping to protect what matters most to them.

Here is what a typical day looks like

• You will provide quotes and sell new policies to customers via phone, in-person and by email
• Everyday you will assist customers with the purchase of their home and auto policy
• You will manage and build customer relationships and meet insurance sales targets
• Follow up on all client accounts to resolve outstanding activities
• Conduct sales calls for new business and making timely renewal calls for existing customer business

The value you bring

• You do not need experience, if unlicensed, we would provide applicable training for the right candidate
• General Level 1 Insurance License an asset
• Proficient in navigating multiple computer programs
• You must be able to communicate professionally in-person, over the phone, and through email
• Prior experience achieving sale targets in a similar or comparable role
• Working experience in EPIC an asset
• Hours: Full-time 37.5 hours per week
• Location: Williams Lake, BC
• Compensation Range: $51,000 - $61,000
