Job summary

HUB International in British Columbia is seeking a part-time Insurance Advisor to provide ICBC and private auto coverage at the office and dealerships. The candidate should be available Saturdays and Mondays and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter, answering phones, and helping with varied tasks while managing documentation and budget alignment in a collaborative HUB team.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 1 General Insurance License.
• 6 months+ Auto Insurance experience is required.
• Demonstrated abilities in providing exceptional client service.
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
• Sales initiative and drive.
• Must have use of own personal vehicle for travel to dealership locations (mileage reimbursement provided).
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production.
• Interpret and ensure insurer rules and regulations are followed.

• Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds.
• Ongoing professional development to enhance skills and abilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Community Branch Network Division is seeking a client-focused Part-time Insurance Advisor. The ideal candidate will have availability Saturdays and Mondays. We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Providing ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships
• Assisting in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter, answering telephones and completing other tasks as assigned
• Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production
• Committing to remaining connected to HUB International in the bigger picture and understand the mission, values and goals of HUB Interpreting and ensuring that insurer (ICBC, Family, etc.) and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
• Handling any customer complaints appropriately
• Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
• Continuing professional development in order to enhance skills and abilities
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

The expected salary range for this position is $19.17 - $25.00, 16 to 20 hours/week (PT) and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
