Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus is seeking an Instructor for the Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN). You will teach, coach and supervise nursing students in lab and clinical settings, evaluate progress and contribute to curriculum updates.

Travel is required and you must meet the nursing and education qualifications outlined. This is a 1.0 FTE position with responsibilities across program activities and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (with at least one nursing degree).
• Eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
• Minimum of two years recent and relevant experience as a registered nurse.
• Effective communication (oral and written), interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of adult education.
• Small group facilitation skills and teaching interaction skills.
• Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
• Proficiency with internet, e-mail and MS Office Suite; adaptable to changing technology.
• Ability to function as a team member and value diversity.
