Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is seeking an Instructor, Practical Nursing for Saskatoon campus on a casual basis for 2026-2027. You will teach nursing students in classroom, lab and clinical settings, assess progress, and contribute to curriculum development, while engaging in campus and industry activities.

Travel is required. Qu alifications include a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, CRNS eligibility, at least two years of clinical/teaching experience, and a current TLR certificate; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
• Eligible for registration with CRNS.
• Minimum of two years clinical/teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing.
• Current TLR certificate (participant level).
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Effective instructional ability.
• Ability to apply medical-surgical and pediatric-obstetrical nursing principles to teaching.
• Small group facilitation and teaching interaction skills.
• Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
• Demonstrates valuing diversity.

Responsibilities
