Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic Regina Campus is seeking an Instructor for Early Childhood Education on a part-time basis to deliver instruction and practical experiences in the ECE diploma program.

You will use blended learning, provide evaluation, maintain curriculum materials, and work with a team; requires a four-year degree in Education or related fields and two years of ECE experience.

Qualifications

• Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, Bachelor’s in Child Development).
• Two years’ recent and relevant experience in Early Learning and Childcare Education as ECE Instructor/Teacher.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written).
• Ability to use internet, email, and MS Office; adaptability to technology.
• Ability to work as part of a team and value diversity.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and facilitate interactive practical experiences for students in the ECE diploma program.
• Support blended learning and adapt instructional methods to learner needs.
• Provide evaluation, feedback, and use Brightspace for learning activities.
• Plan and deliver content reflecting diverse community values and needs.
• Maintain and update curriculum materials and contribute to team meetings.
• Supervise students in practical work placements as required.
