Job summary

Fountain Tire Val Caron is seeking a friendly Inside Sales Representative to join our front counter team. This on-site role handles work orders, quotes, bookings, and customer follow-ups while promoting tire and service offerings to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair or tire industry is an asset.
• Effective listening skills with the ability to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Knowledge of passenger, light truck and tire services is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Excellent customer service and a great attitude are a must.
• A team player who takes pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Create work orders and arrange bookings and communicate them to technicians.
• Provide service quotes, obtain customer authorization, finalize sales and follow up.
• Make proactive calls to customers to gauge satisfaction with service.
• Recommend tire services, wheel and mechanical services to customers.
• Ensure accurate billing and data entry in the computer system.
• Keep showroom promotional material updated.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete e-learning courses as required.
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.

Fountain Tire Val Caron (2945 Belisle Dr Unit 4), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a friendly and dedicated individual to join our team on the front counter as an Inside Sales Representative!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
• Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up.
• Provide proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service they have received
• Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
• Ensure that all products are billed accurately to the customer and process all necessary information in the computer system.
• Keep promotional material updated in the showroom.
• Participate in all safety initiatives, as required or assigned, to guarantee safety at Fountain Tire including customers and staff, on the road, site or field.
• Complete assigned e-learning and safety courses and adhering to standards and policies as described in learning modules.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts

What does it take to get on track?

• Experience in the automotive repair industry or tire industry is an asset
