Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an Inside Sales Representative based in Calgary, AB. You will directly service customers by phone and email, process orders and quotations, and strive to deliver outstanding service daily.

You will build lasting customer relationships, manage multiple inquiries, and support the e-commerce channel. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, strong communication, multitasking skills, and comfort with electrical product knowledge.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding e-commerce.

Job Description

As an Inside Sales Representative based in Calgary, AB your essential duties will be to:

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four (4) outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding e-commerce.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Be computer literate.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business is a must.
• Team Player.
