About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our Sales team. In this role, you will play a critical part in moving projects seamlessly through the sales pipeline, supporting customer success from early design inquiries through quoting, bidding, and final installation.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a trusted internal and external partner, supporting Business Development Managers, coordinating across departments, and ensuring our clients receive timely, accurate technical and project-related information. You will also serve as a brand ambassador, helping grow Longboard’s presence and reputation within your assigned region.

This role is essential to delivering the customer experience that sets Longboard apart, centered around Radical Client Care.

What You Will Do
  • Manage Sales Pipeline
    • Manage the full lifecycle of leads, from initial design inquiry through quoting, General Contractor coordination, and project completion.
    • Review, qualify, and prioritize incoming leads based on project scope, urgency, and strategic value.
    • Maintain momentum on qualified opportunities through proactive follow-ups and structured pipeline management.
    • Accurately track client interactions, project updates, and lead status within the CRM.
    • Partner closely with Business Development Managers to ensure timely handoffs and aligned follow-ups.
  • Sales Support
    • Prepare estimates and quotes aligned with client needs, specifications, and project requirements.
    • Respond promptly to customer inquiries related to pricing, materials, and technical details.
    • Act as a key internal resource for technical information, ensuring customers have what they need to move forward confidently.
  • Project Coordination
    • Coordinate shop drawing reviews and approvals with internal design, engineering, and production teams.
    • Track project milestones and deadlines to ensure smooth progression through each phase.
    • Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, installers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
  • Customer Relationship Support
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing clear, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Address inquiries related to timelines, product specifications, and project status with professionalism and care.
About You

You are highly organized, collaborative, and customer-focused. You enjoy managing multiple moving pieces, thrive in a project-driven environment, and take pride in delivering accurate, timely support. You value teamwork, clear communication, and playing a central role in driving successful outcomes for both clients and internal partners.

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, or project coordination (construction or architectural products industry preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, quoting tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with architectural or construction project workflows is a strong asset.
Benefits And Compensation
  • Salary Range: $65,000 – $78,000 CAD annually, based on experience.
  • Profit Sharing Program: Rewarding your contribution to Longboard’s success.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Health Spending and Lifestyle Spending Accounts, catastrophic coverage, travel insurance, and more.
  • RRSP Matching: Up to 4% of your annual salary.
  • People-First Culture: A collaborative environment that supports professional growth, work-life balance, and continuous development.
